A hobby turned passion, sparked by one very stylish dog.
Leatherworking started as a hobby a few years ago — a way to slow down and make things that are built to last. There's something satisfying about working with your hands and ending up with something real and durable. Over time the skills grew, and so did the projects.
At some point, our dog Keeley needed a new collar. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to put the craft to work. The result was a western-style leather collar that suited her personality perfectly — and apparently, everyone else thought so too. The reaction from friends, family, and strangers alike made it clear there was something special here worth sharing.
That's how Taylor's Leather Emporium was born — not from a business plan, but from a dog who wore her collar well.
We use only full-grain leather and quality metal hardware — the same materials that have defined western goods for generations. No shortcuts, no compromises. Each collar is cut, dyed, and finished by hand right here in Texas.
